A Modern Shrub rose hybrid from 1955.
Classified as a climber up to 3 m high it can also be grown as a shrub.
The glossy dark green leaves are deciduous.

It has clusters of almost flat flowers around 10 cm across.
Flowers are singles with up to 7 petals.
The crimson petals, with a white base, have a somewhat ruffled edge.

They are repeat bloomers.
Rose-hips are orange.
