It was bred in Australia in 1969.
The dense shrubs, around 1.5 m high have prickles on the stems.
The dark green leaves are deciduous.
Clusters of small rounded buds open to fully double flowers with over 40 petals.
Flowers, up to around 5 cm across open fully into a rosette shape.
Petals are white with a red edge.
They repeat flower for 9 months of the year.
